WARNING: SPOILERS FOR THE SEQUEL TO THE PERCY JACKSON AND THE OLYMPIANS SERIES, HEROES OF OLYMPUS BELOW!
This is not a continuation of the Academy of Mapleology Third Division, but rather a spinoff from the actual series itself.
On December 15, the hero of the Second Titan War, Percy Jackson, went missing. Three days later, a demigod named Jason Grace wakes up on a school bus with no memory. As he embarks on a journey with his two companions, Piper and Leo, he learns that, though he possesses the power to manipulate lightning, he is not the son of Zeus.
He is the son of Jupiter. The Roman counterpart of Zeus.
Jason slowly regains his memory of a camp for demigods much like Camp Half-Blood, Camp Jupiter. How he was the hero of Camp Jupiter, the praetor. The son of Jupiter who toppled Krios' throne. The campers at Camp Half-Blood come to one conclusion - In exchange for Jason, Percy has been sent to Camp Jupiter with no memory of who he is. They make a decision to construct the Argo II, a giant airborne warship that will transport them to Camp Jupiter.
Eight months later, Percy Jackson has finished his quest to free Thanatos. His memory is back, and he's now the new praetor of Camp Jupiter. All is set in place for the Argo II to arrive, and when they do, the two types of demigods unexpectedly get along fairly well.
But all goes awry when Leo Valdez, greek god of Hephaestus, is possessed by a wind spirit and forced to fire upon the Romans, breaking their truce and initiating a war between the Greeks and Romans. Seven demigods - Percy Jackson, Jason Grace, Annabeth Chase, Piper McLean, Leo Valdez, Hazel Levesque and Frank Zhang escape the battle scene and embark on a quest for the Athena Parthenos... but that is not your story.
Chiron, activities director at Camp Half-Blood has received word that the Roman camp is to invade the Greek camp. The Greeks are able to fend off the Romans in the initial battle, but they are planning a new battle strategy. The gods are no help - Hera/Juno has been kicked out of Olympus and the rest of them are so torn between their Greek and Roman counterparts that they're basically a lost cause, save for Aphrodite, Dionysus and Nemesis, but do you really want help from the gods of love, wine and revenge?
Greeks: You are a demigod spending their summer at Camp Half-Blood, and you are itching for a quest, but perhaps not one like this. Training has been kicked into overdrive, campers are being sent on missions to spy on the Romans. Will you try to reason with them? Capture them?
Romans: You are a demigod/legacy (descendant of a demigod) enjoying their time at Camp Jupiter. You trusted those Greeks! You're now somewhere in the New York area, listening to Octavian and Reyna bicker over battle strategy. Are the Greeks really that bad?

2. Try your best not to be a Mary Sue/Gary Sue!
3. No children of the Big Three (Zeus, Poseidon, Hades/Jupiter, Neptune, Pluto) or of Hera (faithful goddess of marriage) or Artemis (swore to be chaste).
