Welcome to the world of Pokemon! Though here, there are no humans to tell the Pokemon what to do. They built their own villages and have their own society aside from their domesticated counter parts.
You are a Pokemon who is part of one of three guilds: Merchants, Rogues, or Rescuers.
Who are the Merchants?
Completely neutral. They do business with both the Rogues and the Rescuers without discrimination. Often have task missions. Led by PK the Kecleon and Shroomsworth the Breloom.
Who are the Rogues?
They do things in a Robin Hood-esque way. Break rules they see as irrational or unneeded. Often have sneaky missions. Kind of the 'bad guys', but not really. Led by Gunpowder the Garchomp and Devonshire the Sableye.
Who are the Rescuers?
They stand for helping Pokemon by the rules. They’re more likely to follow all the laws of the land. Often have rescuing missions. Led by Chill the Minccino and Mike the Charmander.
You are part of a team within one of these guilds. A team consists of 2-4 Pokemon and has their own name (ex: Team Pokemon), but still work for the guild. Any money they make from missions gets split 10%/90%, the guild getting the bigger portion. You however keep any items you find in the dungeons that you explore and any items given as a reward for completing a mission.
Here is a map of Tao Village, a place you will visit frequently for supplies, leisure, or anything of that sort.

Here is a list of some dungeons you can go to during missions (Read if you enjoy accuracy to the game)
RULES:
1.You are not the center of attention.
2.No god-moding
3.Be creative with your characters, no Mary-Sues.
4.You cannot evolve. You can start out with an evolved pokemon, but no evolving. (ex. You can start as Squirtle OR Wartortle, but you cannot start as Squirtle and then evolve into Wartortle.)
5.You may have two characters if no one wants to be on your team, but no more than two.

- explanation to the map:
- 1) Monochrome tower: ominous presence in the distance next to an icy cave. Completely sealed.
2) Devonshire Law Firm*: why in the world would Pokemon need a law firm? Seeing as it's closed, they must not. An awful lot of shady characters like to hang around it, though...
3) Rescuers' Club: the hangout of Chill and Mike. There's plenty of space, so feel free to hang out in between missions!
4) Houses in the distance: most of you live out here on the plains next to Tao Village, but some choose to live near the beach or the forest.
5) Trubbish Dump: Pokemon don't make a ton of waste, but when they do, it goes here. Luckily for us, Trubbish finds it all quite tasty.
6) Spinda Café: Hang out here for drinks, food and entertainment! Don't let the small entrance fool you, it's quite a massive underground establishment.
7) Kangaskhan Storage: Auntie Kanga stores items for you here when you don't feel safe keeping them at home, or maybe you've just run out of room.
Leavanny's Tailoring: an accessory maker, Miss Leavanny produces top quality clothing and accessories for guild members who can afford it.
9) Merchant HQ: where PK the Kecleon and the other merchants live. Most Pokemon with cash to spend and some errands to be run come here to hire help. Doubles as a bank.
10) Blissey's Hatchery: whenever lone eggs are found, Missy the Blissey is the one to look after them. Sometimes there's an excess and she needs Pokemon to take the extra eggs off her hands and raise them well.
11) Pidove Post: the delivery place! All letters are delivered by a handful of Pidove working for the community.
12) Mienfoo Dojo: need to train? This is the place for you! Rumor has it, Master Foo is excellent at helping Pokemon reach their evolutionary potential.
*may or may not have a secret backdoor entrance for members of a certain guild
Here is a map of the nearby, smaller Sapling Village.
- explanation:
- 1) The Commerce Mushroom: a great trading plaza, run by an old Parasect, Elder Shroom.
2) Shroomish Hub: its namesake comes from the fact that it houses many, many Shroomish! Shroomsworth used to call this building his home.
3) Bellutiful Cuts: Belle the Bellossom and Lilly the Lilligant both style Pokemon in different ways, here.
4) Barty's Bluff Outpost: takes villagers to Tao Village and back here to Sapling Village.
5) Sapling Village Library: an old, large library, founded a couple centuries ago.
6) Lotad Pond: a favorite hangout spot.
7) Old Shrine: villagers have mostly forgotten who the shrine is for. Legend states that the shrine was erected in honor of a brave grass type who was thought to have lost its life defending weak Pokemon.
